The Vancouver Chamber Choir, Kari Turunen,, conductor, will premiere We Are Phoenix, a work that uses our planet as a metaphor and model of how we can overcome obstacle through rebirth and dynamic change. The concert also features their annual FOCUS choir composed of post-secondary singers from the Lower Mainland, and the winners of our 17th Biennial Young Composers’ Competition.
