Takach signs licensing deal with NPR's Planet Money

Takach has licensed the likeness and name of a new character from NPR’s popular podcast Planet Money. As Planet Money creates a new comic book out of their superhero Micro-Face, Takach has licensed the right to compose a piece of music inspired by the events, dialogue and art from the initial issue of the Micro-Face comic.

Takach says, ”Micro-face” has a mask that grants him both super-hearing and the ability to broadcast his voice in unique ways. I ran with this idea and wrote a song with librettist Jocelyn Hagen that depicts Micro-Faces awakening as he realizes he can fight for social justice by amplifying the unheard voices and stories of others.” The piece will exist as a vocal solo and as a choral work. Pre-orders are being taken at the NPR online shop.
